Archiving and cleaning up

Archive tasks you're done with, restore them later, and remove blocks and files you no longer need.

Written by Oskar Malm Wiklund

Archive tasks you've finished to keep your Tasks list short. Archived tasks aren't deleted, and you can restore them at any time.

Archive a task

  1. Click Tasks in the sidebar, then the ⋯ menu on the task's row.

  2. Move puts the task in a project instead, if you want to keep it in use.

  3. Click Archive, then Archive again to confirm.

  4. Archived tasks are on the Archive tab. To bring one back, click its ⋯ menu and choose Restore.

Remove blocks and files

  • A block: click the trash icon in the block's header, then Delete. This can't be undone. A block can't be deleted while it's still running.

  • A file: click the trash icon next to it in the project or workspace file list, or in a task's Uploaded files. See Uploading files: where, which types and limits.

Good to know

  • An archived task can't be moved to another project. Restore it first.

  • If you archive a private task, nobody else can open it from a link.
