What is a deliverable?
A deliverable is a single unit of agent output, be that a research report, strategy outline, a piece of copy, or any other sub-task. When an agent completes a task, the result appears in a deliverable. You can have multiple deliverables in a single task, each covering a different angle or output, or steps along the way. Deliverables appear on the canvas to the right of the chat.
Key takeaways
Once a deliverable's content is ready, Multiply writes two or three Key takeaways at the top of it. Deliverables open folded to their takeaways. Click Full report to expand the whole deliverable, and the arrow in the deliverable header to fold it again. Read more in Key takeaways in deliverables.
Iterating on a deliverable
Send another prompt at any time to update a deliverable's content.
Navigating deliverables
Each deliverable also appears as a card in the chat, with the same takeaways. Click Open on a card to jump to that deliverable on the canvas and expand it. Click a deliverable's title on the canvas to fold or unfold it.
Inline references
When an agent has used sources, from web search or uploaded files, they appear as small purple numbers in the deliverable content. Hover over a number to preview the cited section, and click Open in the preview, or the number itself, to see the full source and the agent's analysis of it.
Research deliverables show a sources count under their title. Click it to see every source the deliverable used. Read more in Sources and citations.
Copying and exporting a deliverable
Click the download icon in the top right of the deliverable and choose:
Copy plaintext or Copy markdown - copies the deliverable to your clipboard.
Export as PDF or Export as Word (docx) - downloads the deliverable as a file.
Use markdown when you want to preserve formatting like headers and bullet points. Use PDF or Word for client-ready documents, with inline references intact.
Deleting a deliverable
Click the trash can icon in the top right of the deliverable, then Delete to confirm. This can't be undone. A deliverable can't be deleted while it's still running.
