Exporting deliverables: Word, PDF, Google Docs and slides

Export blocks as Word or PDF, apply your house template, open them in Google Docs, and turn them into slides.

Written by Oskar Malm Wiklund

When a block is ready to share, export it as a Word or PDF file, or copy it into another tool. Inline references come with it.

Export a block

  1. Click the download icon in the top right of the block.

  2. Choose Copy plaintext or Copy markdown to copy the block to your clipboard. Markdown keeps headings and bullet points.

  3. Choose Export as PDF or Export as Word (docx) to download a file. Both keep the inline references and add a list of sources at the end.

To export a project's brief, open it and click Download, then Download PDF or Download Word (docx).

Use your house template

  1. Export the block as Word.

  2. Open it in Word and apply your template's styles, or paste the content into your template.

Open in Google Docs

  1. Export the block as Word.

  2. Upload the .docx file to Google Drive, then choose Open with and Google Docs.

Apple Pages may not keep the formatting well. Use Word or Google Docs if you can.

Turn it into slides

Multiply can't create PowerPoint, Google Slides or Figma files yet. Instead:

  1. Upload your template deck to the task.

  2. Ask for slide-by-slide content, for example "Give me one insight and one image idea per slide, following my template."

  3. Paste the content into your deck.

FAQ

The export failed with "Content too large".

Very large blocks can't be exported. Ask Multiply to split the block into two, or export it with Copy markdown.

Can I set my organization's formatting rules for exports?

Add house-style rules, such as spelling and quotation style, to Global instructions in Organization Settings. Multiply follows them when it writes.
