Blocks

Each piece of output your agents produce lives in a block. Blocks appear on the right side of your task alongside the chat.

What is a block?

A block is a single unit of agent output, be that a research report, strategy outline, a piece of copy, deliverables, or any other sub-task. When an agent completes a task, the result appears in a block. You can have multiple blocks in a single task, each covering a different angle or output, or steps along the way.

Iterating on a block

Send another prompt at any time to update a block's content.

Navigating and collapsing blocks

Your blocks are listed in the right sidebar. Click any block in the sidebar to jump directly to it. Click the collapse button on a block to fold it, which is useful when you have several blocks and want to focus on one at a time.

Inline references

When an agent has used sources β€” from web search or uploaded files β€” they appear as inline references in the block content.

Click any reference to see a full breakdown of the source and the agent's analysis of it. All sources used in a task are also listed in the Sources tab.

Exporting a block

Each block has a copy button and an export button in the top right corner.

  • Copy β€” exports as plaintext or markdown

  • Export β€” downloads the block as a PDF or DOCX file

Use markdown when you want to preserve formatting like headers and bullet points. Use PDF or DOCX for client-ready deliverables (with inline references intact).

Deleting a block

Click the trash can icon in the top right corner of the block to delete it.
