What is Intelligence?
Intelligence is the layer in Multiply that turns your context into something you can act on. Multiply reads the files and brief in a project, searches the web for what they leave out, and keeps a running picture of the topics that matter. From that picture it suggests the next tasks to do.
Intelligence works at two levels:
Project intelligence - research focused on one piece of work, organised into intelligence areas. This article covers it.
Workspace intelligence - weekly research into the client behind a workspace, plus brief proposals. See Workspace Intelligence and Brief Proposals.
Where to find it
Open a project. The Intelligence card is on the right, under the Overview card. The Drafts it suggests are on the left.
How it works
Add context to the project: upload files and write instructions, or start the project from a brief proposal.
Once the brief is ready, Multiply picks the intelligence areas that suit it. You can change them at any time with Edit areas.
Each area reads the project's files and searches the web, then writes a summary with its web findings. The card shows when it was last updated and how many files it's based on.
When the areas finish, Multiply suggests Drafts: the next tasks it recommends, ready to start with one click.
Intelligence refreshes when you upload more files, and drafts refresh when you edit the brief or the project instructions.
Intelligence areas
Each project has its own set of areas, chosen from a catalogue of 15 (such as Audience, Brand, Competitors and Media landscape) or picked by Multiply specifically for your brief. Click an area to read its full summary and every web finding with a link to its source.

Task drafts from intelligence
Drafts are the tasks Multiply recommends based on everything it knows about the project. Click Play to start one, or X to dismiss it. Read more in Suggested tasks.
Intelligence in your tasks
You don't need to copy findings into your prompts. Every task in the project can draw on the project's intelligence, files and brief automatically. Private tasks can use it too when you pick the project as context. See Private and shared tasks.
