In Multiply you can create a template that function as a style by adding a block called 'Style Guide'. This means that you can create a In this article we will go over how you can set up a brand voice template and see how Multiply can help you create tailored text in your own words. We will do this by going through the Content Creation workspace from the gallery.

  1. Start by Adding Blocks

Begin by bringing a Webpages and Files block into your setup. This lets you add either a webpage link or upload a document. These pieces are used to build your brand voice from stuff like a company's site, brand book or style guide.

  2. Tick the Style Guide Box

Next, include a Style Guide block and make sure it's checked. Checking this box is important because it tells the AI to view the contents as a set of rules. This helps in making sure that anything made later matches your desired brand voice.

  3. Create the Brand Voice

Now we'll generate our brand voice, so that the AI actually understands how it should write according to our own guidelines. Upload any webpage or file that help define your brand voice. Review the content closely to ensure it’s just the way you want it.

While the Content Creation workspace provide textblocks like Brand Core and Content Themes, you can also devise your own sections that better suit your needs, ensuring the instructions are tailor-made for you.

  4. Link to Another Template

Once your brand voice feels right, connect it to another template. For instance, if you're preparing to write a blog post with this voice, link it by going to 'Edit Template' and adding a List-block named 'Brand Voice'. Now, when starting a new blog post draft, you can pick this voice to maintain consistency.

By linking the two templates through a list block the AI can then give suggestions on blog posts, newsletters, press releases, campaigns, or whatever you instruct it to come up with. Press 'Discard' to get rid of suggestions you did not like and 'Keep' to save the suggestion.

  5. Use Your Brand Voice

Finally, apply the brand voice you’ve crafted. Select it from the dropdown menu and hit the Generate button. The AI will take it from there, creating content in the voice you’ve set up.

It’s that simple to have texts in the style you prefer.

Brand Voice in different languages

Now, you could repeat this process for creating brand voices in various languages.

  • By adding a Language block placed before the Style Guide, and then specifying the language.

This helps in crafting content in different languages but still in your company’s overall style, modifying your content for different markets or target groups while keeping the essence of your brand intact.
